Stadt.Land.Markt. e.V. was founded in summer 2018 to bring people from the city together with producers from the surrounding area. In addition to running a farmers' market in Bonn's old town, the association pursues the overarching goal of using suitable event and educational formats to sensitize Bonn residents to sustainable nutrition and inform them about responsibly produced food.

It is also a key concern of the association's members to contribute to a food transition. They are therefore working with other initiatives in the city to establish a food council for Bonn and the surrounding area. All people who want to change the existing food system are welcome to join in.
