Slow Food is a global movement that is committed to a sustainable food system. The preservation of rural agriculture, traditional food crafts and regional biodiversity are just as important to Slow Food as fair remuneration for producers working sustainably and the appreciation and enjoyment of food.
Founded in Italy, Slow Food Deutschland e.V. was the first other national association in 1992. 14,000 members in over 80 regional groups, including the Convivium Bonn, are involved in projects, campaigns and events in Germany to promote everyone's right to good, clean and fair food.
