The small business Aufblühen! grows flowers according to the Slow Flower principle in and around Bonn. The aim of the Slow Flower movement is to be able to offer cut flowers from the region free of pesticides. Aufblühen! attaches particular importance to offering seasonal flowers and reflecting this in the choice of flowers.

While modern conventional agriculture contributes greatly to climate change, the Slowflower movement wants to make agriculture part of the solution with a regenerative approach. At Aufblühen!, the flowers are therefore planted between fruit trees together with vegetables, as this leads to more biodiversity and species diversity and also promotes bee life through more nectar.
