The Old Catholic parish of St. Cyprian in Bonn is committed to sustainability and global justice through its actions and public relations work: conscious consumption, sustainable management, thinking globally, acting socially. The parish's commitment is broad-based: From clothing swaps to the use of fair and regional food at events and the avoidance of meat from industrial animal production to the avoidance of pollutants and waste separation as well as the use of environmentally friendly alternatives in the office and kitchen. In addition, fair trade food is offered for sale in the parish hall of St. Cyprian's Church every Sunday after the service.

One result of this commitment is the "Fair Community" seal, another is the award of the Old Catholic Kindergarten of St. Cyprian as a Fair Kita NRW.
