Sustainable all round.

The series of events

How do we want to eat in the future? Can we completely avoid waste? Are there value chains that are consistently fair and ecological? And how can we bring nature back into the city?

With the "Bonn - sustainable all round" series of events, we want to explore these questions and look at how a sustainable lifestyle is possible - especially in the city.

In Bonn and the surrounding area in particular, there are already many initiatives, associations and committed people who are campaigning for regional, healthy and climate-friendly food, against food waste and plastic waste, for better labor rights in producing countries and for ecological, fair consumption.

We want to showcase this concentrated commitment and present ideas in an entertaining way that everyone can easily put into practice. At our annual festival, which takes place as part of  "Fair Week" (opens in a new tab), numerous initiatives provide information about their work, give practical tips and invite people to try out, discuss and participate.

The festival "Bonn - Rundum nachhaltig" was created from the merger of the Bonn "Agrikultur-Festival" and the "Rundum fair" in order to bring together the common focus topics of regional, ecological and fair. After all, how we eat, live and shop has far-reaching consequences - for ourselves, our environment and all those involved along the value chain.

Both at the festival and at other events in the "Bonn - sustainable all round" series, we work together to change our production and consumption culture, provide information about new developments, projects and backgrounds and promote networking between the various stakeholders.
