The beekeeping association, which was founded in 1988, is not only committed to the keeping and breeding of honey bees, but also to the preservation of wild bees and a species-rich natural environment. Even though this was by no means common practice in the year it was founded, today it is all the more evident how important their protection is: after all, all bees are essential for the existence of our ecosystem. The association makes a valuable contribution here by bringing beekeepers together, educating them and informing them about the latest developments in beekeeping methods and research.
