Leihbar Bonn is a library of things. Instead of books, as is the case with traditional libraries, the Leihbar has things that can be borrowed. The main focus is on things that are not used on a daily basis, such as tools, camping equipment or rarely used kitchen utensils - all for a deposit and presentation of an ID card. This is based on the old idea of sharing - on the one hand, less needs to be produced and, on the other, sharing creates community. Anyone who wants to can also donate items: A list on the website provides information on what is needed.

Leihbar Bonn is run by an initiative of volunteers from Bonn. It can be found in the Mackeviertel neighborhood office.
