Don Bosco macht Schule is an educational program offered by Don Bosco Mission Bonn. The organization belongs to the religious order of the Salesians of Don Bosco and has been in existence for more than 50 years. Its mission: to help disadvantaged children and young people around the world to lead a life in abundance. The vision: a just and peaceful world in which young people can develop their talents regardless of their social and cultural background. With the educational programme Don Bosco macht Schule, the organization raises awareness among young people in Germany about the challenges of a globalized world. The team of trainers offers experience-oriented workshops and project days for school classes who want to make coexistence around the world more respectful. The handouts for teachers focus in particular on the living conditions of people in the Global South.
