The aim of the Transition Town Initiative: Bonn residents transform socio-ecological visions into tangible projects. Founded in 2015, the association's successes include the initiation of Bonn/Rhine-Sieg solidarity agriculture, the  Bonn blüht und summt (opens in a new tab) project, the Bolle Bonn cargo bike rental service and a repair café.

Bonn im Wandel recently launched the "Bonn4Future - We for the climate!" participatory process together with Bonn's civil society. In cooperation with the city administration, the association is thus shaping the first dialog for Bonn's path to climate neutrality by 2035. The new  sustainability platform (opens in a new tab) is already making numerous Bonn initiatives for change visible and serves as a contact and networking point.
