The initiative to promote economic competence in the sense of education for sustainable development, BiWiNa for short, aims to promote economic competence at all levels of education in the sense of education for sustainable development. BiWiNa stands for education, business and sustainability. The initiative is convinced that economic theory must create a framework for sustainable economic activity and that companies and local authorities are key change agents for sustainable development.

In addition to lectures, events and exhibitions, the association also offers an educational game on sustainable development goals, provides information on economic literacy in a comprehensive collection of topics and gives detailed instructions on how to set up a sustainable bank at school.
